Matt, it's on the Donovan tribute album (CD), DONOVAN ISLAND OF CIRCLES, Nettwork, (W2-30075). I'd bet it's long out of print.

Looks like some tasty dishes there!

14. Bob Dylan- The Mighty Quinn (Quinn The Eskimo)

This isn't a cover, is it? I'm pretty sure His Bobness wrote "The Mighty Quinn". Mannfred Mann's Earth Band did a well-known cover.

Craig, you're right. :b I'm gonna replace it with another tune off of SELF PORTRAIT, or maybe Manfred Mann's...? ...or, something that fits in the time allotment.

Kool idea! I cd' some funny old 45's a while back. You know, Unicorn by The Irishman, Snoopy Versus the Red Barron by(?) Saturday Morning Confusion by (?) Sorry. Drew a blank on those two. And a few others. Lots of fun. Specially for the niece and nephew (and me too). My next disc will be songs I like, but no one else does. BTW, how do you explain all that stereo stuff in the kitchen? Gene, I love 45's. I once had 3000 of them. I used to buy them for ten cents when they left jukeboxes and some new ones too, of course. Then I started selling them to folks who had private jukeboxes and now I'm down to about 800 or less, I think. I have enough that I can't find my mono single of the Rolling Stones' Posion Ivy right now. I used to have the lot in alphabetical order and could find anything fast. When I moved last year they got shuffled. There's a project.

I finished another disc, #5 Re-Covered .

1. The Marketts- Batman Theme
2. Vanilla Fudge- You keep me hanging on
3. Spooky Tooth- Society's Child
4. Joan Jett- Tush
5. Free- The Hunter
6. The Posies- The River Song
7. Friends Of Dean Martinez- The Warmth Of The Sun
8. Linda Ronstdat- In My Reply
9. Livingston Taylor- Six Days On The Road
10. Robert Cray- Love Struck Baby
11. Santana- She's Not There
12. Rickie Lee Jones- The Low Spark Of High Heeled boys
13. Joan Jett- Pretty Vacant
14. Ramones- Time Has Comne Today
15. Jeff Beck Group- You Shook Me
16. Leon Russell- Act Naturally
17. Lyle Lovett - Friend Of The Devil
18. Rolling Stones- Around And Around
19. Aerosmith- Big Ten Inch Record
20. Bryan Ferry- It's All Over Now Baby Blue
21. The Beatles- Twist and Shout
22. T-Bones- Everybody's Gone To The Moon

I've started another one too. That may be the last or not? I always keep thinking of one more song.....

3000!!! I don't think I've had 3000 of anything. Well, maybe baseball cards. I knew a kid in the 60's who's father had 4-5000 albums but we couldn't go anywhere near them. BTW, where are you getting all these songs? From the net or your private collection? Gene

Gene, out of my collection. I have several thousands of records, all sizes, and quite a few CD's too. I don't record much off the net, some, but not much.
