Movie Soundtracks

Ok everyone name off the soundtrack albums you have and what you're latest purchases have been. Maybe also what you want!

My have list: (albums/cds/tapes)

Star Wars: Episodes 1,2,4,5,6
E.T.
Jaws
Jaws 2
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Superman
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Hook
Lawrence of Arabia
Saturday Night Fever
Batman
Purple Rain
LOTR: Fellowship and Two Towers
Mad Max
Blade Runner
Pulp Fiction
Ghostbusters
The Best of James Bond
Bond: Back In Action
You Only Live Twice
Tron
Falcon and the Snowman

Recent purchases

Midnight Cowboy
What's New Pussycat?

Looking(or wishing) to get...

Omen II
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Fahrenheit 451

Midnight Cowboy has an amazing soundtrack thanks mostly to John Barry. What's New Pussycat is a great early Bacharach endeavor. I mostly bought it for Warwick's "Here I Am" which is fantastic but I've grown to love most if not all of it. I guess I'm really into my 60's soundtrack phase.

The man I loved - the man who vanished - he never came back at all. But maybe he's still out there, somewhere. Maybe some day, when Gotham no longer needs Batman, I'll see him again.

If you are into that style of music, classical with chorals... It is awesome. Easily one of my favorites. The only complaint I have is that it is to short!

Well, I saw the movie, so I know what the music is like.

another vote for : Naked Lunch (very acid jazz)

Clockwork Orange

I also like the 2 cds of Twin Peaks music.

I used to own One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, but sold it...

Last I bought was the one created to coincide with the DVD of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" Terrif!

I hate "soundtrack cds" that are not accurate or representative of the music heard in a film, as when tracks are missing, or not in the order of appearance in the films.

Eg, The Crying Game, Blue Velvet, Wild Palms, etc.

What a coincidence- I never buy soundtrack music, but I got an order from Columia House yesterday which included the soundtrack to Amadeus.

I also have Blues Brothers, Superfly and 2 South Park CDs.
