A reason to go to DC

NEW BEATLES EXHIBIT AT SMITHSONIAN. The Beatles have got to be the only
group of Brits that warrant an entire exhibit of their own at a Museum of
American History. But when you've been thrilling so many millions of
Americans for forty years, formal recognition is justified. The Beatles!
Backstage and Behind The Scenes, a photo exhibit featuring a series of never
before published photos of the band, went on exhibit at The Smithsonian's
National Museum of American History in Washington, DC last Friday. It
celebrates the 40th anniversary of the band's legendary February 9th, 1964
performance on The Ed Sullivan Show. The Associated Press reports that the
photos, which are from CBS archives and Life photographer Bill Eppridge,
highlight the band's signature style from when they first arrived in the
America. And as Vickie Rehberg, one of the organizers of the exhibit,
explained, the show does plenty well illustrating just how damn cool The
Beatles were when they first invaded the U-S: "It shows how innocent they
were... There was no posing here," she said. The exhibit will be open until
July 5th.

Grant, do they have any genuine, authentic used chewing gum that was in fact mouthed by the Fab Four?

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

So, if you're listening to a Beatles album while chawin' it, that makes it authentic eh? It works for me!
