Does anyone else think that this song is just absolutely amazing? I think this is in the top 4 or 5 best Radiohead songs. I think it has the spooky, etheral sound and when put in with Thomas Yorke's unique voice, turns out to be one of the best Radiohead songs ever.

Other favorite Radiohead songs:

"Paranoid Android" (the slow part is amazing)

"Exit Music (For A Film)" (love that bass distortion in the middle of the song"

"Thinking About You" (my favorite song on PH)

"Fake Plastic Trees" (Most of "The Bends" is awesome)

"Sail to the Moon" (sounds like "The Great Gig In The Sky")

Tell me what you regard as your greatest strength, so I will know how best to undermine you; tell me of your greatest fear, so I will know which I must force you to face; tell me what you cherish most, so I will know what to take from you; and tell me what you crave, so that I might deny you.

I used to be a pretty big Radiohead fan but I kind of lost interest in them right around the time Kid A came out. OK Computer and The Bends are fantastic albums though.

Dave

...and Houdini has nothing to do with this...?

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

"How To Disappear Completely" is by far my favorite song on Kid A, and one of my favorite Radiohead songs period. Such a powerful, atmospheric track.

Radiohead- when they're good, they're real good. When they're bad, they're real boring.

How to Disappear is indeed a lovely song. That and National Anthem are the highlights of Kid A for me.

i've always said if i was gonna do myself in, it would be to any song by this mortal coil. however, if those discs weren't handy, almost without doubt, "how to disappear completely" would be playing in the background.

that being said...some of my faves ( denotes extra cool)

amnesiac
packt like sardines...
i might be wrong
knives out

the bends boy...i really like this album
planet telex
high and dry
fake plastic trees
bones
(nice dream)
bullet proof....
street spirit

hail to the thief
sit down, stand up
backdrifts
go to sleep
where i end...
there there
a punchup...
myxomatosis

kid a (yes, i think *every* song on this album is extra cool.)

ok computer yep...love this album too
paranoid android
subterranean...
let down
karma police
no surprises

pablo honey
creep
how do you
stop whispering
blow out

okay, yeah...i know i listed a whole bunch of songs and a lot of them got thumbs-up.

but what can i say?

i'm a ... F-A- N !!!

I think Ok Computer onward would really benefit from 5.1 SACD or DVD-Audio.

If I had to pick one it would definately be OK Computer. Great recording to begin with, but get someone like Elliot Scheiner to mix it? Whoa! I wouldn't leave my house!!

P.S. I have to give Doves: Lost Souls a shout out for a potentially great SACD in 5.1. I wish the studios would start jumpin!

Man, OK Computer or KidA or Hail to the Theif in 5.1 would be awesome.. think of how trippy it would be to listen to it while 'relaxing'

Great, great track - definitely the highlight of Kid A. I think I prefer this album to Amnesiac but I prefer Hail to both of them. That one is just on repeat play in my car constantly.
