Jerry Lee Lewis.....68!
Late in 1956, yes, nearly 47 years ago, Jerry Lee Lewis began his recording career on Union Ave. in Memphis. If you were paying the slightest bit of attention to the wildman over the next 10 or 20 years, and beyond, it was apparent that the candle was burning at both ends.
But, against all odds, Elvis, Carl, & Johnny, the rest of the Million Dollar Quartet, are gone. Mr. Philips is gone.
The Killer lives.
I know most of you are too young to have grown up with this music...do yourself a favor and pick up a Jerry Lee Lewis greatest hits disc. He sings, he plays piano. It's good shit.
