Suburban Noize Records...
I'm a big anti-radio type, so anything mainstream, imo, is lousy (for the most part, anyway). I just don't ever see many crisp, clear messages coming from any artist(s) who're even patially popular these days, which is why I've remained practically ignorant to pop culture within the past two years.
However, if you're into hip-hop/punk (two complete opposite ends of the musical spectrum, I know) at all, and also tired of what's played on radio, Suburban Noize Records may appeal to you. They offer the greatest messages/ideas I've encountered in a group ever. If you're interested, just click here.
Anywho, their artists vary from the Kottonmouth Kings (my fave), to Phunk Junkeez, to DJ Bobby B, and the list goes on. But, I just thought I'd recommend this to anybody who has an open ear for problems in our society, and/or is looking for some great beats with a positive message.
\"Get it straight, it\'s an herb not a drug, so why is it kept under society\'s glove, Locked up restricted deemed highly addictive, Labeled pot heads now we\'re all afflicted, But why? cuz we like to get high?, Expansion of the mind you should give it a try, Chocolate Thai, blue thunder, white butterfly, Super silver, purple haze, and the northern light...\"--Johnny Richter, Kottonmouth Kings
