Parliament's Mothership Connection remastered

Just a heads up that the CD for Parliament's Mothership Connection, the funkiest record ever cut, has been remastered.

I didn't do an A/B with the original, but it sounds fine to me. The bass is nice and thick, as it's supposed to be.

The daze of the Funkaquest are back, eh? Mike, the original is a vinyl platter. There's caucasians living in my neighborhood and I had to hire a spy.

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

It's about damn time. Now if only they'd get to the Funkadelic albums. I've been looking for a reason to replace my vinyl.

They remastered the first three albums that were released on Casablanca. "Up for the Down Stroke", "Chocolate City", and "Mothership Connection". They all have a few bonus tracks ("Mothership..." has one, the others have three each, IIRC). The reissues were produced by Harry Weinger and remastered by Ellen Fitton. I've only heard "Up for the Down Stroke", and it sounded pretty good to me.
