I have heard good things. Check here:

no fears alone at night she's sailing through the crowd
in her ears the phones are tight and the music's playing loud

Portrait of a Legend sounds pretty good to me, but it seems to be a combination of mono, wide stereo, and narrowed stereo with no clear rhyme or reason. I don't get why they seem to be narrowing some of the stereo tracks on this and some of the Rolling Stone ABKCO remasters, but otherwise, I like how it sounds.
