THE ROAD Cormac Mcarthy's post apocalyptic novel adapted for film

I had just finished reading The Road, which is an incredible novel and I was interested to find out that it is being made into a film by John Hillcoat who made the excellent The Proposition. Starring Viggo Mortenson, anybody know any more about the film and when it is coming out?

Quite a few of us are very excited for this film. We have a thread for the movie (with a few stills and links), and we also briefly discuss the book. Perform a search for "The Road" in the Movies-Theatrical section, and you'll find it!

I believe it will be released in November.
