Re: Anyone see the movie Mirrors?

I saw but didn't like it much. I will say though that I'm not a fan of Asian horror movies or their American remakes so I might not have the same take on the movie as someone who is a fan of that subgenre. There's alot of jump scares (some of which are good and some are just cheap) with music or a person popping into frame. There's parts of the movie that are kinda confusing so they had to explain what was happening with some obviously looped lines. It's not terrible but after High Tension and The Hills Have Eyes remake, I was hoping for more from Alexandre Aja.

On the plus side, Kiefer Sutherland gives a good performance, Aja does good work and the sets look very nice. And KNB has a pair of special effects pieces that are great and very graphic.
