Has anyone else seen those promos for Stand Up: Muslim American Comics Come of Age? PBS is airing it on May 1th as part of their Cross Roads series and I'm so intrigued. It follows 5 comics as they use their craft to combat stereotypes about Muslims and Arabs. They are all from different backgrounds and traditions and each have a different story to tell. It looks like it'd be very provocative - and from the promos - VERY funny.

Hey - just wanted to give a shout that this is on tonight - I'm definitely watching. I caught two of the comedians on The View the other day and thought they were hysterical. Should be interesting....
