Harold and Kumar 2
http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=22961
Here's a link to the teaser. I think that this was supposed to come out this year sometime, but it looks like it has been pushed back to 2008.

Re: Harold and Kumar 2
The original was a very funny flick. However, I don't know if I can forgive the one guy for Van Wiler: The Rise of Taj. That was so bad I couldn't even finish it.

Re: Harold and Kumar 2
This is an all-time fav for me. The funnier thing is that I am A) Not a stoner, and B) Have never in fact smoked pot. Both said, this movie kills me. I seriously doubt the sequel come close.

Re: Harold and Kumar 2
For me, the first 2/3 of the film were so-so to average, but the last 3rd of the film almost salvages what came before it, but not quite. I am really tiring of Rob Corddry, he basically ruins any scene he is in (for pretty much any film he appears in).
If you're a fan of the original, this is an average sequel, so temper your expectations.
I give it 2.5 stars, or a grade of C+.

I can't wait to see it. I MUST know the answer to the eternal question,
What Would Neil Patrick Harris Do?

" When the chips are down, these 'civilized' people? They'll eat each other. I'm not a monster...I'm just ahead of the curve"

Re: Harold and Kumar 2
I thought the last chunk was actually the worst part of the whole affair. Any scene with Kumar's white ex-girlfriend in it (with the exception of the kinky library flashback) was just D.O.A. for me. There's a pretty hilarious movie between the plane ride and W's ranch, though.
I will agree that Rob Corddry plays it too broad, but considering the movies are basically about a reversal of stereotypes it kind of works. After all, that kind of portrayal is how a lot of Jackie Chan's American-made movies and the like must look to Hong Kong.
Absolutely loved W in this.

I'd considered that part of the 3rd act, which I liked. The Kumar and Rachel stuff had the buoyancy of a lead balloon.

Re: Harold and Kumar 2
There seemed to be a lot of 'filler' in my opinion. The scenes with the hillbilly family and the KKK just seemed out of place. Those scenes should of been added on the 'Director's Cut' of the H&K2 DVD.
It was very funny movie, but seemed to drag on at times.
I think the subtitle 'Escape from Guantanamo Bay' was more of a 'current event' grabber. I think more of the film took place in W's ranch then did in Guantanamo Bay.
It didn't seem like people that wrote the film knew what direction they wanted to go it at times, seemed almost like they wrote the scenes as they filmed the movie.
Not as good as White Castle, but it was funny.
