Since they didn't have to get the audience up to speed on the characters (their background, their strengths and weaknesses, their idiosyncrasies), this film was plot-plot-plot with sprinkles of funny sight-gags and humor to move things along. So, you basically know what you're going to get with a film like "National Treasure 2", echoes of the first installment, but more of it, and it's a little bit funnier and faster-paced. It's a pretty good 2 hours at the theater.

I give it 3 stars, or a grade of B.

Like the first film, this one is a fun 2 hours of cinema during the Christmas season. If you liked the first one, you will like this one too.

NT2 aims to be fun-filled popcorn entertainment, and it succeeds very well at that. It is among the best of the Bruckheimer-produced movies.
