New Line Heads for 'Final Destination 4'...in 3D

Quote:
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Final Destination 2" director David R. Ellis and co-writer Eric Bress have signed on to make a fourth "Final Destination" movie, this one shooting in 3-D for New Line.

Man, how awesome would the previous 3 flicks be in 3D? The log smashing into the car, the plastic pipe through the head, ah fun times.

I saw the title, and all I could think was: Jaws 3 in 3D.

I'll take a very wait and see. It's popcorn faire, but if this is just a gimmick, it won't necessarily help.

Funny that Final Destination 3 was first titled Final Destination 3D. I've liked the series and the 2nd is by far my favorite, so I'm glad it is Ellis that will be directing the 4th. The 3rd could have been sooooo good but the opening disaster was pretty lame compared to the jaw dropping logging truck crash of the 2nd.

I thought the second one was alright (Glen Morgan and Jim Wong's two FD movies were much better) but I couldn't care less who is involved because there will be crazy crap flying around and getting stuck into people.
