Hitman

Movie based on a video game, but at least it looks like they are trying to do something different.

The controversy being driven by the theater posters is unique if nothing else.

Re: Hitman

Anyone else think Timothy Oliphant looks like Zippy the Pinhead?

Some people just don't look good totally bald.

I don't see how Jason Statham wasn't picked for the part.

The trailers look great, but this is a genre that is going stale. Is there anything original left that hasn't already been done in a Jason Statham movie?

It could be that this is based off of a video games series.

Re: Hitman

Because of the obvious bulge in "her" pants that makes this look like the "Crying Game".

I guess you could say that it's where she keeps her gun, but it's not the right shape...

I seriously doubt it's the accurate image - Disgruntled graphic designer photo-shopping perhaps?

"Bulge"? I guess I see what people are referring to, but I mean, come on...
There's nothing that should not be there. Maybe some people should brush up on their female anatomy.

Re: Hitman

I think Olyphant delivered over half of his lines through clenched teeth, that got old, fast.

The script felt underwritten in quite a lot of spots. It tried to be clever, but got caught up in being something worse: uninteresting. It was weird seeing Robert Knepper with a working left hand (his role on Prison Break is a one-handed one).

I did sort of like Olga Kurylenko, she reminded me of Sophie Marceau, but with a Russian twist.

I give it 1.75 stars, or a grade of C-.
