Upcoming film strike?

So I work in the film business as a grip but I'm trying to understand who is striking and what are the odds or it happening or getting resolved. Can anyone enlighten me on the topic at all?

Odds of happening? Pretty high.

Odds of being resolved without a strike? Not to high.

Please join us in this thread as we watch from the sidelines to see if the WGA and the studios can patch things up before tomorrow's strike deadline.
