1940's cartoon "BLITZ WOLF" directed by Tex Avery - question.

On the laserdisc edition of The Compleat MGM Tex Avery, there seems to be a cut that nobody has mentioned yet, or noticed yet - on the short called Blitz Wolf.

In the beginning of the short, the two little pigs are singing/mocking their third brother building the brick house: You're in the army now, you're not behind the plow, you're digging a ditch.............. (then there's this freeze/pause, before they continue)..........you're in the army now, they conclude.

It may not be a cut, but it seemed odd that the scene froze like that. Was there a part of the lyric that was cut, or is it just a glitch?

Nothing has been cut and it's not a glitch.
The freeze frame gave the audience time to supply the (obvious) missing words.

Yep! One of my favorite Avery jokes. Let the audience fill in the punchline.

Something cartoons and comedies of today, can't seem to understand. Also, a very clever way of avoiding censorship.
