I saw the film earlier tonight at a special preview showing. I'll try not to spoil anything (is it really spoiling though considering it's a true story?) but I must say that I walked out of the theater angry at what happened. Nick Cassavettes spends so much time making sure the audience warms up to a character that

The film is badly paced but the storyline does pick up quite a bit after the kidnapping starts. At the beginning, I was embarassed at how bad Timberlake is at acting, but you grow to like his character as him and Zach become tight. He was the only one of the whole lot of them who had any redeeming value.
BTW, anyone else think it's time for Shawn Hatosy to stop playing 18-19 year old roles? I mean, I know it's common for actors in their mid-20's to play teens but this guy is 31 for crying out loud.
I suppose the ticket price is worth it alone to see Sharon Stone without makeup and in a fat suit... hard to believe it was the same woman who exuded sex appeal in the 90's with Basic Instinct and Sliver.
