I'm hoping it'll get a national release but from what I'm hearing about the attendance at the screenings, I doubt it. Poor Artie.

He showed a clip on Conan that was actually pretty funny, but I'm sure the movie won't even see a wide release. Should be on DVD soon enough, though.

The Conan appearance was great.
I wonder if he'll still go out to LA for the Jimmy Kimmel show.
I'm sure I'll be getting it as a blind buy.

It's expanding into other cities Sept. 29th. Showings were sold out in some Howard Stern friendly areas, so despite OK numbers ($2K/screen), it will go out to more cities (specifically mentioned Boston, LA and Pittsburgh). The thing that put it over the top was that it did $7000/screen in some theaters close to old Howard markets.

The clip was great and the trailer is remeniscent of Slap Shot for softball, which is fine by me. I'll be seeing it in all it's non-PC glory.
