Just got a shock to read that actor Bruno Kirby has passed away at the relatively young age of 57. Apparently he had been recently diagnosed with leukemia.
His best known role was probably as Billy Crystal's best friend in
When Harry Met Sally. He also did notable work in
City Slickers,
Good Morning Vietnam, and
This Is Spinal Tap. He made an early impression playing the young Clemenza in
The Godfather II. Most recently, he did a bit on HBO's "Entourage".

He was an engaging character actor, and I for one always enjoyed his work. R.I.P., Mr. Kirby.
