Flyboys
This looks way cool. One I'll have to trek to the theater and see. Jean Reno, always a joy to watch on screen.

Re: Flyboys
I hope it is good Ron. I worry it will be like Top Gun but with the background of war it does look different too. I've already forgotten his name but he was really good in Tristan & Isolde. (underrated film btw)...

I'm sure it will be, if for nothing but the action sequences alone.
But, more then Top Gun, it looks more like a WWI Pearl Harbor.

Re: Flyboys
Some of the ariel battle stuff looks straight out of Hell's Angles. That's not a bad thing, 'cause if you're going to steal, steal from the best.

Re: Flyboys
Since there hasn't been a good WWI air war movie since The Blue Max, I'll go see this. Hope its more accurate and not over the top as most war pictures. One problem with the trailer is that it seems that all German aircraft are red Fokker DR1s. Not only were there very few produced( 300 + ), but they were in service for less than a year. There should be Albatross and Fokker DVII aircraft. German aircraft were also painted in individual colors. Certain Jastas may have shared a color but each aircraft was different in how that was applied. I hope that this is just the trailer and doesn't mean that this is a faceless enemy move.
