Warner Bros, Please Consider a Theatre release of Richard Donners cut of Superman 2

For Warner Bros:

I first want to say thank you for taking the time to make the Donner's cut of Superman 2. I understand that you plan to release Superman 2 on DVD in november.

I would hope that you would consider a theatre release for Richard Donner's Cut of Superman 2. Both in your continued year in celebration of the man of steele and with the release of the original cut of exorcist: the beginning by Paul Schrader.

Please let the fans who have supported this project have a chance to see the movie on the big screen like it was meant to be.
It may be 30 years later, but better late then never.

thank you,
Jacob

I'd certainly go see it.

The Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood has terrific programs of revival screenings plus guests, and they've got solid digital projection equipment in case a print isn't being offered.

Releasing a movie called "Superman II" to theaters right now would probably confuse the general public into thinking it was a sequel to Superman Returns. "Wow that was fast! Hey I thought Christopher Reeve was dead...."

The truly hilarious thing would be if it outgrossed Superman Returns.

I don;t know how much it cost to do the restored edition of superman 2. certainly not the amount that superman returns cost to make.

It would be awesome if they could do a one day only around the country.

I wonder what it will look like projected? Some of the material comes from screen tests, right?
