Re: Children of Men
Supposedly, Vice has a Departed trailer with it. I hope it does.

Re: Children of Men
Also saw this trailer in front of Miami Vice, and this one looks great too. Though I don't have any big, epic, fantasy movies to look forward to this fall, I am looking forward to this, The Prestige, The Fountain, The Departed, etc. I think it will be a good fall/early winter for movies.

Re: Children of Men
Interesting movie and good trailer. I had always thought that Sigur Ros' "Hoppipolla" would be a great song to use for a movie or something, and I was right.

Re: Children of Men
Yeah, I noticed that too, the use of that song is gold there, fits the images perfectly. I hope it's in the film. Sigur Ros songs fit so well into film in general, they're practically made to be used in soundtracks.

Re: Children of Men
In the THIRD kick to my nads with this wondrous fall season, now Children of Men has also been moved to the right...all the way to Christmas it seems.
It's hard to complain when there are this many fascinating films coming out, but I wish some of them had hung around October. I just want to see them.
So anyways, 3-3 on my top fall films...the 3 I am most interested in have all been moved

Re: Children of Men
Pan's Labyrinth. No trailer yet. It was set to open the SAME DAY as The Fountain. Now it's opening right after Christmas.
Anyways, those are my three most anticipated films, and I have to wait longer for all of them
But at least they are coming out

Re: Children of Men
Well, regardless of when they come out, it looks like it will be a great fall/christmas movie season.

Re: Children of Men
I hadn't checked back in on this thread since shortly after I posted in it, so I didn't understand why I didn't see most of these promising films listed on the October release schedule.
The good news is that bumps into December suggest that the studios think they have real hits or Oscar shots with the films, which probably means they are as good as their trailers promise.
Out of the bunch Prestige has me most interested, so I'm still at little happy about the month. Regardless, this year looks to be ending with a real bang of quality efforts.
