Just watched 'HAPPY GILMORE' on tv and have a question...

Why did the filmmakers, in the theatrical cut, feel it necessary to delete the scene where
Spoiler:
Ben Stiller's tyrannical orderly character get's his when Happy throws him out of a window?

They put that scene back in for the network cut and it's a scene that I have always wanted to see in the theatrical cut, I always felt that they left that plot point hanging with no resolution.

It's a very satisfying scene to watch and closes that storyline out perfectly IMO.

Its a great scene and one of the few that aren't even on the new DVD. I also liked the kickball scene in Billy Madison. Comedy movies (Naked Gun is another great example) tend to do that, sadly. It sucks.

It is on the new DVD in the deleted scenes section under "Nursing Home" It is a montage of all the deleted footage that took place there and you don't see the part you are talking about until the end. Maybe that is why you missed it.

I'll have to get that new dvd then, is it available by itself or do I have to get that Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore 2 pack?

Never really liked Billy Madison that much.
