R.I.P. Vincent Schiavelli
Veteran character actor Vincent Schiavelli, who was instantly recognizable in a wide range of films including Batman Returns, Ghost and Tomorrow Never Dies, has died at the age of 57.

He was definitely a familiar face, not only on film, but on television. I'll always remember him from his guest appearances on Taxi, and more recently, the Buffy episodes "Surprise" and "Innocence". May he rest in peace.

This guy added a lot to many movies, including his hilarious bit in AMADEUS. May he rest in peace.

I'll always remember Schiavelli's bit part in Night Shift, when he asks Henry Winkler 'Where the fuck is 4K?' and then he wipes the sandwich on the door. Classic. He was a talent.

The man I loved - the man who vanished - he never came back at all. But maybe he's still out there, somewhere. Maybe some day, when Gotham no longer needs Batman, I'll see him again.

The amazing thing about a great character actor like Schiavelli is that he was instantly recognizable, but always believable as the person he was playing.
