I posted this when the board was going through some troubles, so it unfortunately got deleted, along with everyone elses posts

I was thinking of doing a challenge similar to the Annual HTF October Scary Movie Challenge, but with Christmas/holiday themed movies instead.

The rules:

Watch 12 Christmas/holiday themed movies before 12:00 AM Jan. 1st to complete the regular challenge, or go for the ultimate challenge of 25 movies. (12 and 25, get it? )

My list so far:

Powerpuff Girls: 'Twas The Fight Before Christmas

Sounds like a good idea and since I love christmas movies, maybe I'll get into this one more than the Halloween one.
One question, since a lot of the christmas stuff is specials, and only run at about a half hour to maybe an hour, would they count?

Sure, I'd say they count. I don't think there were any time rules for the Halloween challenge. Do you think there should be a minimum time limit for it to count as one entry? I dunno. Perhaps two 1/2 hour specials would count as one slot?

I suppose there's all sorts of rationale for different ways of counting things, so I guess it'd be simpler to count each individually. Each show/special/movie counts as one?

If anyone has any ideas, I'd like to hear them.

I'll play. I've already been playing anyway. After Thanksgiving, Christmas movies are the vast majority of what I watch. I'm going to count the 1/2 hour specials, though I'm not counting all the episodic Xmas tv shows I'm also watching.

So far:

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974)
A Christmas Carol (1938)
The Christmas Party (1931)
The Homecoming: A Christmas Story (1971)
Recess Christmas: Miracle on 3rd Street (2001)
Christmas in Connecticut (1945)
The Santa Clause 2 (2002)
Beauty & the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas (1997)
A Charlie Brown Christmas (1966)
Star in the Night (1945)
The Bishop's Wife (1947)
