Name this movie...?

Late 70's/early 80's. Based on a children's story? A young boy and girl sneak off to the city and hide in a museum, looking for some famous/elusive artist/author?

thanks!

From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler

(that was the name of the book, the 70's movie was also known as "The Hideaways," depending on where it was released. There was also a more recent TV movie.)

Dangit, I finally knew one and someone beat me to it! I've never seen the movie, but the book is pretty good (I read it in like 3rd grade).
