A movie script gets the greenlight for production..........then what happens?

That's pretty much the entire question.

In other words, who starts looking for the right actors for each part; what department chooses the filming locations; how is equipment chosen for that particular movie, etc, etc?

I know this is a question with a potentially very complicated answer but does anybody have a basic rundown of this process?

Thanks a lot for any thoughts on this.
