The Loews Jersey is located on Journal Square directly across the street from the PATH subway station connecting Manhattan with Jersey City, and just minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike, Route's 1 & 9, and Route 3. Built in 1929, the theatre still features carbon arc projection, stereo sound, and a huge 50 foot screen. The Loews Jersey is operated by Friends Of The Loews, a non-profit volunteer organization that is dedicated to restoring the theatre to it's former glory. Do to the hard work of past and present volunteers, the Loews Jersey has become New Jersey's number one destination for classic film programming.
I'm not sure which films I'm projecting yet, but I should be there for all the shows. If anyone attends, be sure to say hello.
