I'd never heard of Corpse Bride, but it has apparently been in production for a few years. It looks very similar in style to Nightmare Before Christmas, and has a pretty powerful vocal cast: Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Albert Finney, Christopher Lee, and Emily Watson.
It's due for Halloween, and trailers are here:

I'd heard about this but it had fallen off my radar. I thought it would be directed by Henry Selick like Burton's other animated features, but IMDb says it's co-directed by Burton himself and Mike Johnson, who was an animator on the first two.
If everything in that trailer is stop motion... wow. The expressiveness is just astounding.

How did this slip under my radar?
I can't wait to see it - Nightmare was one of my favorite movies of the 90s

I cant wait for this either, the characters and settings are so Tim Burton esque.
Between this and Wallace and Gromit, it looks like stop motion animation is making a comeback!
BTW- isn't Helen Bonham Carter also in the Wallace and Gromit movie?
