best films of the 70s.
I was looking to catch some great films from the 70s that I may have overlooked. What are some must see overlooked classics besides the obvious JAWS or STARWARS that we all have seen. I know Ive seen the GODFATHER films, the CONVERSATION, and much of the classic horror films like EXORCIST and the OMAN series. What are some others great ones?
Movies are like books, except you can\'t set your\' drink on them, well.. unless its a DVD...oh nevermind

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. Unfortunately the DVD is non-anamorphic. But it's still a great movie!

I recommend Five Easy Pieces. Out of the movies Jack Nicholson made in the 70s, it seems that most people like Chinatown better, but I found Five Easy Pieces much more enjoyable.

Dawn Of The Dead
Marathon Man
My DVD Collection
I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blind, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the Devil's eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil! - Dr Sam Loomis(Halloween)
Damn you Mop N Glo! - Stewie (Family Guy)
