No aliens according to the CNN article, but they're in a quasi-arctic location again in the trailer. Hmmmmm.

Hmmm, so that CNN article at least confirms it's a contemporary story then. I was rather hoping they'd keep references to later-season melodramatic stuff out of the film, but what are you gonna do...

The trailer does look solid...great tagline!

I like that title. This is one of my most anticipated releases of the year.

Hopefully this will do well because I'd love to see the X-Files continued through a movie franchise...

Yeah, this title is probably the one studio was pushing. I don't like it. But doesn't really matter if the movie rocks!

According to the article that I linked above, Chris Carter said that it's the title that he wanted.
