Hey, Hey, Hey ! No Fat Albert Movie says pudding pusher.
Bill Cosby has pulled the plug on Forrest Whitaker's Fat Albert film.
You can read all about it at Fox "News", grain of salt not included.
It'll happen eventually, I'm sure of it.
You know, Fred, if you keep your sense of humor like you do, you just might make it.

Looks like you were right, from what I hear it's back on and the cast is being set as we speak. IMDB has Kenan Thompson in the title role.
Anyone else hear any other information?

Based on the trailer, I think we might have a new contender for "worst film of 2004".

Keenan did an excellent Cosby impression on All That... Cosby does not need the money. If a movie is being released, "Hey Hey Hey, on Christmas Day!" then the script can not be all that bad - Cosby would not let someone tarnish his beloved show.

I loved the cartoon, but I will probably treat this the same way I did the Garfield movie...avoid it at all costs in the theater, see what happens and then consider a rental of the DVD when it comes out.

I dunno... ever seen Leonard Part 6? Ever seen someone killed by Ground Beef & Hotdogs? Bill Cosby wrote, and starred in it.
The scenes in the trailer look pretty god-awful to me. I can't imagine what the rest of the movie's gonna look like!

Just release a movie with Cosby telling the "Fat Albert" stories. Guarantee that's funnier than the coming film.
