Sony can only hold off making a Spiderman 4 for so long then the rights revert back to Marvel. Marvel would either license it out to another studio or make it themselves since they are now in the movie making business.

Yay! Our ranks will grow until we can't be ignored. I'm not the biggest fan of Venom, but a black suit in Spidey 4 would cover the Kraven's Last Hunt storyline and open the door to Venom in 5.
If this doesnt tell you Raimi will never go the Venom route I dont know what will.
I have to say its odd choice - Who wouldnt prefer to see Sandman or Lizard, but...

I posted a rumor the other day the CHurch is playing The Chameleon.Its seems Topher Grace and Thomas Haden Church will both be playing The Chameleon. I guess Raimi this is what he meant by using Parkers personal life to pick what the villian would be. I guess the Chamelon finds out who spiderman is.Graces character forms a rift between Peter and MJ and midway thru the film we discover Grace is the Chameleon is disguise
