TCM is airing films on Thursdays hosted by American senators this month...

Oct 7 (Today):

Senator John Edwards is hosting Dr. Strangelove (10 PM EST)

Oct 14:

Senator John McCain is hosting Paths of Glory

Oct 21:

Senator Joseph Biden is hosting Dead Poets Society

Oct 28:

Senator Orrin Hatch is hosting To Kill a Mockingbird

Here's the link on TCM's website:

(Just as a warning, regardless of political affiliation, I think it'll be neat to see senators introduce classic films. Don't make this thread get closed because of flaming!)

Tell The Weinstein Company to release Richard Williams' animated masterpiece The Thief and the Cobbler on DVD in Panavision widescreen and uncut! See and hear what you're missing from their Bitsy Award winner of Worst Standard Edition DVD of 2006 on YouTube!

It would be nice to hear their thoughts. Frankly, that list contains two of my favorite politicians (meaning two I like, versus despise). One from each party!

Thanks for making me aware.

Thanks,
Chuck
