Phoenix Pictures has signed Robert Schwentke to direct, which he will rewrite with Mitch Brian.

DETAILS

- Original screenplay by Bragi Schut.
- Phoenix Pictures and the producing team of Chris Bender and JC Spink will collaborate on this film.
- The story was originally in Bram Stoker's DRACULA told in journal form by the captain of the Demeter as he notices things "getting weird" and sailors disappearing before he resorts to lashing himself to the wheel to make sure the boat makes it to port.

Seems very interresting. I just hope It'll be made, I have no fresh news since the first rumor...
