Beast from 20,000 Fathoms Nitpick Question
I was just watching this movie again for the umpteenth time and noticed at 26:09 into the movie a radio. There was a closeup of the radio and their were some lights that blinked on and off in vertical manner.
Now my first thought was this radio is showing audio levels. But did they have that kind of thing in 1953? I looked at the scene multiple times and it repeated itself exactly. Anyone have any idea what it is?
BTW, does anyone else but wish the screenwriter could have been a little more creative? Even the military could have come up with a better name than "Operation Experiment" for the A-Bomb detonation. How about "Arctict Fire" for example.
However, this movie remains one of my favorites.
