I am hopeful that we will finally see a HP movie that has some 'magic' to it. Sounds very promising.

There are several reviews for Azkaban up at Rotten Tomatoes already, all but two of them of them postive.
Careful man! There's a beverage here!

I have read a few other (non-official) reviews. They have all been raves.

I saw the first 2 Harry Potter films, and they never really grabbed my attention as memorable films, but knowing that Alfonso Cuaron is at the directing helm, I have high hopes, especially after enjoying "Y Tu Mama Tambien" so much last year. Plus the look of the film just puts the viewer in a slightly altered universe where the presence of magic doesn't seem out of place.

I fear I won't be able to get Lindsay Lohan's take on Hermione from her "Saturday Night Live" Harry Potter skit out of my head...

Makes sense. The kids who watched the series from the very beginning are also growing up. They can handle more mature themes.

Patrick: I was thinking the same thing. Wow...was Lindsay ever stunning in that skit. Now I will have that image in my head all day. (I guess that is not a bad thing!)

And the Variety review criticizes it for aiming too high and not following the action climaxes of the previous two films :"Notably lacking is the sort of action-oriented climax that punctuated the earlier films, as "Prisoner of Azkaban" closes with
