He's one of those good character actors with an unforgettable face who shows up and you think "there's that guy!" It's nice to know his name now, though too bad the knowledge came after he died.

His face rings no bell with me. Still sad, but no recognition here (even though I've seen 6 of the movies he's in).

Not only do I recognize him from most of those films, but I also saw him on Broadway just four months ago in Anna in the Tropics. You would never have known he was ill from the vigor of his performance. This is a terrible loss.
