George Romero and Ridley Scott to produce "Diamond Dead"!

Original zombie master George A Romero is to collaborate with Ridley Scott on a new project about a rock band who return from the dead.
With 2004 proving to be the year of the undead, what with the US box office success of the remake of Romero's Dawn of the Dead and the forthcoming Brit comic horror Shaun of the Dead, it is perhaps fitting that Romero himself is set to rise from Hollywood purgatory to film Diamond Dead.
The black comedy, which is based on a script by Brian Cooper, sees an aspiring female singer attempt to join an up-and-coming garage band, only to accidentally cause their demises. She makes a deal with Death to bring the group back, whereupon they become an overnight success.
The only problem: she must now complete her side of the bargain by killing 365 people in just one year.
