Sunrise -- NOT a good Valentine's movie. I speak from recent experience.

Disagree. This is the one film I would highly recommend watching. It's so poetic and romantic (especially in its middle section) that like Punch-Drunk Love, you can easily overlook the dark parts because there are so many romantic parts to make up for it. It's one of my favorite romantic films of all time.

"...so here we go." --"Punch-Drunk Love"

Last 5 DVDs Purchased: Matinee (1993), Demolition Man (1993), Spaced: The Complete Series (1999-2001), Go (1999), Clerks II (2006)

# of DVDs in my Collection: 754

One movie I always try to watch on V-day is Schindler's List. I know it's a strange choice but I've got my reasons. I saw the movie as part of a class (English or history, I don't remember) on V-Day back in 1994. This movie was the one that made me change my views on movies. before I saw Schindler's List, I viewed movies as escapist entertainment. After, I realized movies were something almost religious. Of course, the advent of the Internet and DVD has only added fuel to the fire that is my passion for movies.
