Please help identify movie

All I remember about it, was that a guy in a machine was injected into peoples bodies and he journey'd through the bodies that he came into contact with. Near the movies end, he fought against another guy in a machine. I don't believe it was that good of a movie, but interested me at a younger age. Please help. TIA,

And Martin Short as the body into which he was injected. I'm guessing that's what Scott's thinking of, as there is a fight between Quaid's character and the villain's henchman (the one with the detachable tools where his hand should be) inside the body.
