Wasn't the stepford husbands actually a TV movie... I think they did like 4 sequels to this movie in the first place.

Seems interesting, but I would probably enjoy it more with Joan and john cusack in this. I wonder what the exact reasons were for them dropping out of the project?

It would seem that everyone would already know the secret, after all, there were already three sequels to the original film. REVENGE OF THE STEPFORD WIVES, THE STEPFORD CHILDREN and THE STEPFORD HUSBANDS.

Maybe they've got a new twist?
