Not quite sure what to think of it yet, since the slasher plot is being taken half seriously from the looks of it, but it does look like there's funny stuff here....

Super Troopers was great because it was original... but the slasher genre has been parodied to death with Scary Movie and Scream...

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because I absolutely adored the original (a great way to end my senior year of college, watching that flick at various frat houses every weekend).

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but I'm wondering if this is going to be different. It does say it is getting an R for Violence/Gore on IMDB. I'm going to have to see how it plays.

I'm there anyways, since these are funny guys.

i'll see this movie even if the trailer looks bad. i remember when the trailer came out for super troopers, i thought it looked absolutely horrible, and i refused to see it. then it came out on dvd, everyone told me it was hilarious, and then i saw it, i realized it was the funniest movie i had seen since the big lebowski.
