Move over Justin and Kelly...

Because here comes Avril Lavigne! Her horribly misspelled song "Sk8er Boi" is being brought to the big screen by Paramount. I am not kidding. Just go look at IMDb, Yahoo Movies, and CBC News for proof!

I have only one thing to say about this movie: for the love of god, don't make it!

This is older news, but I didn't see it posted on here. Sorry if it was already.

Well at least it's original.

The man I loved - the man who vanished - he never came back at all. But maybe he's still out there, somewhere. Maybe some day, when Gotham no longer needs Batman, I'll see him again.

Oh man. Forget everything you knew about film.
The Matrix? Come on!
Lord Of The Rings? Get out of here!
Back To The Future? Give me a break!

Sk8er Boi, now that's what I call a film!

This is a quote from a friend of mine on another message board.

I'm not sure if Avril knew this, but "boi" is generally used as a term for a young homosexual male, so the concept of Avril rejecting this "boi" because of his social status doesn't make much sense, seeing as a "boi" would have no interest in someone with a vagina in the first place (This is, of course, presupposing that Avril has a real vagina). Also anyone who would actually write out "SK8" in any non-mocking context deserves to be "tenderized" with large beating sticks (special sticks designed specifically for beating).

In the voice of David Spade - "I loved this story the first time I heard it...when it was called Romeo and Juliet."

I don't mind the repetition, but why do they need the song to make this film? Oh yeah, pop singer cash in. Who's giving this girl advice, her dad?
