I have misread you Lou, my apologies.

Tino I meant what I said sincerely.
Chuck's post is a shining example in clarifying and explaining one's position instead posting fanboy based drivel.

But I am a raving fanboy
Thanks for the kind words, Lou. Like I said, on it's own merits, T3 is technically sound and entertaining. I admit my biases hurt the overall impression.
I also stand by it having a VERY poor score
And the CG "makeup" used for the Crystal Peaks T-850 looked awesome in the film.
With that, I'll exit and leave the fine folks and fans to discuss T3 without my blahness
Take care,
Chuck

On the other hand, the machines are bring built someplace. Are humans enslaved and constructing the machines, or after the first few Terminators were completed, was the task turned over to other Terminator Assemblers?

Ashley:
If memory serves me correctlly, Reese mentions in T1 that humans were rounded up and sent to prison/labor camps shortly after the war started. I may be wrong about this, but I do recall hearing this as one of the lines. Haven't watched the movie in awhile to confirm it tho.

And just wondering, the new TX is a much better terminator underneath a T-1000 liquid metal right? Makes perfect sense. the T-1000 got ripped up too much and could only make knives, now it can still immitate, but also is like a tank underneath.

Yah, Reese mentions that most of them were rounded up into camps and killed, but some were put into labor camps.

The only reason I am wondering is because it shows another layer to the Terminator character, capable of subtle deception, lying by omission. I tend to think General Brewster led them astray intentionally. If the Terminator knew where the place was, chances are, he knew what it was. He would have "detailed files" to put it in his words. The Terminator played along with the ruse to complete his mission, which is cool.
I really liked this movie. I'm still thinking about it, and wondering if I'm going to have to wait 12 more years for the next installment. Somehow, I think not.
I\'m John Kilroy, and I approved this message.

So maybe I'm the only one who hates what they did with John Connor's character in T3 (and throughout the preceding 10 years). But isn't anyone else bothered that the only reason Connor is in this movie at all is by pure random chance?
He wrecks his bike on a remote road.
He hitches a ride which stops next to an animal hospital.
He breaks in, treats his wound, and falls asleep.
Kate has an emergency which requires her to show up at the hospital way before opening hours.
For some strange reason, the T-X seeks Kate out at the hospital during a time when she wouldn't be likely to be there.
Hey look! Here's John Connor!
So if he avoids the wreck, hitches a ride somewhere else, treats his wound and leaves, the cat coughs up its hairball, or the T-X goes to Kate's apartment first, then he isn't in the movie at all.
Am I the only one bothered by this?
OK. Here's another one. How did Kate, John, and Ahnuld get into the control room at the top secret air force base? Do they just let you walk right in with a shot-up cybernetic organism if you're family?

Sure, I was bothered by a lot of these details, but obviously that doesn't seem to get into the way of other people's enjoyment. Ah well, what are you going to do?
I was hoping this would be a film that I'd look forward to seeing again, but, alas, I don't. I think there's a lot of action eye candy in this film, but just not enough substance to be digested in another viewing.

Brad: I guess it's just fate...some things were meant to be. That's one of the messages of the film, which diverges from Cameron's T2 message (not T1): "no fate but what we make for ourselves"

I completely agree with Dennis on this one. It isn't random chance that sets these things in action, it's fate. This isn't different than any other fate oriented films, ie, Donnie Darko. Everything has meaning.

The flipside is that it could also seem too contrived, beyond plausibility.
