Re: Ghost Rider...can you believe this?
February? Pretty early for a trailer.
feels like it doesn’t’ it? If they pushed back as far as posted.
But if the mention of reshoots and adding supporting character are accurate, sounds like it’s been a troubled production and they are testing the blog/forum waters to see how close they are coming to an acceptable finished product. Especially if they feel they’ve had ‘issues’ with CGI. I’ve seen far too many trailers which had me highly intrigued yet the shorts themselves (in a nutshell) encapsulated all of the minor high points the film contained. Other films when the trailer seemed lackluster and after a really satisfying movie Experience I wondered what the trailer editor had been thinking during showcase of product. Hard to judge sometimes.
It caught my eye on a network run of the trailer tonight. N Cage is one of those actors who I just generally tend to like regardless of the product he’s in. Here there seems to be slowly increasing gatherings of “Motorcycle nights” at Sonic drive-in’s and various hamburger joints, many very young groups but some of these are the older set partially made up of professionals. And I see what? Two at least bike shops on Satellite, don’t know if those are waxing/waning as far as viewership. I think I passed by/through a “cycle night” at my marina sometimes in the last months, not sure what that was about. (The marina has a restaurant and bar).
Those with that type of group interests might? pad the target numbers a bit higher than the studio expects as regards what this genre (comic’s based screenplays) demographics normally pull from.
I have a feeling many in that culture group are going to really like that flaming bike theme.
