Yeah, the movie doesn't hit until May of next year, but there are a few solid promo pics up at Bloody-Disgusting.com

Have a look.

I quite like the Dracula design. I hope this turns out to be stupidly good fun like The Mummy and not just plain stupid, like The Mummy Returns.

Okay, those pics are cool. What the hell is the story about? Is it based on those Van Helsing animated DVD's that Ive been seeing?

Just what the world needs, more junk from the creator of The Mummy and The Mummy Returns! No thanks...

Well, the Frankenstein Monster looks pretty cool. I would like to see the Wolfman and Dracula look more like their Universal Classic counterparts, but oh well. I thought both MUMMY films were good fun(if slightly dumb), so I'm hoping this will be at least entertaining. It will be good to see my favorite monsters on the big screen again.

Nope.

With this resume - Deep Rising, The Mummy & The Mummy Returns, the screenplay for The Scorpion King - he's shown a distinct lack of talent in the fantastic film genre. His kid's films - The Jungle Book and Huck Finn - were ok, but nothing lately.

He's a poor man's Peter Hyams, if such a thing is possible....
