NFL on Sirius -- Jerry Rice must go !

Thats it ! I can't take it any more. I have never in my life heard anyone on a professional station butcher the english language so often.

Besides being a total mush mouth, the man makes more mistakes about the current NFL none stop. Last night in a 10 minute span he must have said "ummm, huh,& ahhh " about 30 times.

I cant believe the G.O.A.T. can be this horrid at anything. Please spare us and get him off the air asap.

Yeah, Brent, I'm not a Jerry Rice fan either, at least with his work
on the NFL channel. He just can't get a thought out of his mouth
without tripping over his own tongue. I'm such a non-fan of his that
I change the channel whenever he is one of the hosts- I just don't
have the patience to listen to him. Please, Sirius, bring back
John Riggins! Nothing against Solomon Willcotts- he is a good
host- The team of Adam Schein and John Riggins was awesome!

Another host that I just can't listen to is Gil Brandt- all he seems
to do is provide trivia questions and answers.

I will say this though: The Barber Shop has generated more NEWS and I mean, not just for SIRIUS but league wide, then any program I can remember. Tikki has been brutal in bringing out in team issues, discussing retirement, and debating the realities of the league.

The Barber Shop may be one of the most intriguing programs I've ever heard aired. I wonder how they manage to keep it going with the open and honest approach they take to their teammates, coaching, and other issues live on air. It's one of those shows I find myself talking about days later and saying "damn".

And if you short-term invest with the NFL it's a MUST to listen to.

I am with ya Chris, I love the Barber Shop ! I love both of these guys and I love how they are straight shooters. I started listening to Keyshawns show this season and I have been pretty impressed with him as well. I love his stance on all the other WRs and he says things that I cant believe aren't brought up by the national media.

The Barber Shop is indeed a feather in Siri's cap, IMHO.

In reference to Jerry Rice, if they're going to keep him on, they need to give him some coaching in regard to speaking on the radio. Tell him the do's and dont's, give him friendly critiques after a show etc.

I wasn't a fan of Riggins. The best guy I think they've ever had on there is Jim Miller. I haven't heard him in a while though.

As for Gil Brandt, it blows my mind that that dude was actually a successful NFL executive with some of the nonsense he spews out.

Re: NFL on Sirius -- Jerry Rice must go !

Jim Miller is sort of a regular with Schein- I believe he is there on The
Afternoon Blitz on Tuesdays and Fridays, also he does the Rewind
show on Sunday nights. I like Miller- he comes across as friendly,
and he gives very candid opinions without sounding like a know-it-all.

Another guy I've gotten sick of is Randy Cross. He will get up on his
soap box at least once every show and say that the media and fans
are clueless. He will take his little jabs at teams or players, but I
guess we aren't allowed. Hey Randy- we get it- you are smarter than
us. You've not only made your point- you've run it into the ground.
