Basic Questions

I just purchased a car that came with XM. Although I like it, I do not feel that it is worth the amount they are asking.

1. Anyone know if I purchase a home receiver with XM built in if I can use the same subscription used for my car also for the home receiver? Will I need to purchase a second subscription?

2. $12.95/month is more than I am willing to pay. What is a realistic amount to pay based on current promos/coupon codes out there?

Thank you.

Re: Basic Questions

Stan,

If you purchase a home receiver with XM you will have to pay
a second subscription. Additional subscriptions are $6.95 each.

As far as a better price? There is a thread elsewhere in this area
that suggests you could cancel your XM and get an offer to keep
it for a little over $70 a year. Additional subscriptionns would still
cost you $6.95 a month.

Hope that after listening to XM a little more you will think better
of its worth.

Regards!

Re: Basic Questions

I was able to get XM with the special promo code for $77.00 a year. That was about a week or two ago. Last I heard, someone tried to call within the last couple days and was told the promo had ended.

It's worth a try though. The promo code is "ZWINBACK MYP1"
